This is a translation. Only the German version is legally binding.

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") apply to the provision of rooms and to all other related services and deliveries of the Aparthotel Al Lago to customers. All offers of the hotel are based on the following GTC. They form an integral part of every contract. Should these GTC contradict any contractual terms of a customer, these GTC shall prevail.

2. Conclusion of contract

Following the customer's reservation, the customer receives a written booking confirmation from the hotel named above. The contract between the parties is concluded only upon this written booking confirmation to the customer.

3. Services, payments and prices

The Aparthotel Al Lago undertakes to provide the services ordered by the customer and confirmed in writing by the hotel.

All prices include service and VAT.

If you have chosen the "non-refundable rate", your credit card will be charged at the time of booking the room and the amount charged will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation.

The tourist taxes set by the Canton of Ticino are not included in our room prices and must be paid in addition.

The hotel invoices in Swiss francs (CHF). Prices stated in euros or other currencies are guide values and are charged at the exchange rate of the day.

The Aparthotel Al Lago is entitled to request an appropriate deposit at any time. The amount of the deposit and the payment dates are agreed in writing in the contract. If the customer does not pay the deposit on time, the hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract after setting a reasonable grace period. The customer is liable to the hotel for any resulting damage.

If the hotel does not request a deposit, the customer must pay the full invoice amount no later than at the time of departure by credit card (Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Diners), debit card (EC/Maestro, PostFinance Card) or in cash. If payment by invoice has been agreed, the full invoice amount is due 10 days after the invoice date. The hotel expressly reserves the right to change prices.

4. Arrival and departure times

The hotel rooms are available from 2 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure.

5. Cancellation policy

The following cancellation terms apply to the cancellation of bookings as well as to no-shows and early departures.

Cancellation:

up to 7 days before arrival = free of charge

7 to 0 days before arrival = full invoice amount

The hotel reserves the right to agree individual cancellation terms by contract.

6. Parking

A limited number of outdoor parking spaces are available to you. Parking spaces in the underground car park are subject to a charge (15,- CHF / night). The hotel accepts no liability for parking damage or hit-and-run accidents.

7. Liability

The Aparthotel Al Lago is only liable for intentional or grossly negligent contractual or non-contractual damage and only for direct damage. Any further liability, in particular for slight or moderate negligence, is excluded.

The person making the booking is liable to the hotel for damage to the furnishings or inventory and for losses caused by them or their guests.

The hotel accepts no responsibility for theft of or damage to objects, clothing and materials brought along. Exceptions in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations.

Applicable law / place of jurisdiction

This contract is governed exclusively by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the Civil Court of Locarno. Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In such a case, the invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to its meaning.
